Writing for a living isn’t easy. Well, the writing’s not so difficult. Getting people to buy it, or hire you to do it: that isn’t so easy. But it is interesting, challenging and can be fun. You also get to meet some real diamonds, some arseholes and assorted odds and sods somewhere between the two. At the end of the day - and this is the bottom line - they pay you.
