Avoca. Used to be a one horse town, but the horse died. Just kidding folks. The horse is fine. Lived in or near city since leaving school. Worked there, too. But now, friendly neigbourhood internet means you can live in the bush, surrounded by vineyards and wineries and old goldfields less than two hours from Melbourne. Yeah, sure, it can dip to -5 in winter and soar to 45 in summer, but hey .... that’s what temperature range is all about.
